Memories & the Next Step in the Journey

Well, it is now less than 2 weeks before our big move back to the States. It’s been 5 and a half years in Belgium, filled with great memories beyond description.

We’ve lived here for most of our married life (married 7 years next month) and both of our boys have been born in Belgium. It has become like home to us. So here are 2 short videos: the first capturing memories from our time in Belgium and the second pointing to the next step back in Memphis. Continue reading

Senior Day for Memphis Tigers

DJ Stephens Poster

Anyone who truly knows me knows that I am an adamant Memphis Tiger basketball fan. As we say back in Memphis, ‘I bleed blue!’

Congratulations Tigers

Yesterday, the Memphis Tigers (a.k.a. the Cardiac Kids) won the Conference USA Championship. They fought back from 12 down with about 6 minutes left in the game to win on two free throws by Joe Jackson, tournament MVP.

It’s been an up and down year for a young team and young coach. But I am excited for them and send congratulations all the way from Brussels, Belgium!!!

The Game Winner!

For my Memphis friends, I don’t know how many caught the Memphis Tigers game on Wednesday night at UCF, but a crazy finish. They are calling this year’s team the Cardiac Kids. There has been plenty of that this year. A very young team that will continue to grow more and more, including next year.

Check out the game winner from Wednesday.
