New Book Release: Rees Howells Intercessor Part 2

Over the last 4 decades, one of the classic books on intercessory prayer has beenĀ Rees Howells: Intercessor. While it has maintained its reputation as a helpful text about the practicalities of prayer and intercession, it actually stands as a biography to one specific man called by God in the Welsh revival of 1904-1905 and subsequently used in great works across south Wales – Rees Howells.

But, for those who have read it, you will be aware that the book closes in 1950, at the death of Rees. The Bible College of Wales, which he launched in 1924, was still in existence in Swansea, Wales, and there was still much work to be accomplished in carrying out the vision of reaching ‘every creature’ with the gospel (quoting Mark 16:15 from the KJV).
