Enneagram Fours: Hearing the Father’s Voice

The Enneagram is a personality typing tool. I prefer it over others like Myers-Briggs, DiSC Profile, StrengthsFinders, etc. I appreciate those, but the Enneagram is more helpful in understanding not just what we do, but why we do, the motivation and wounds behind what we do.

I am particularly interested in using the Enneagram as a tool for spiritual formation and growth. This would be connecting it to the work of St. Evagrius Ponticus, Ramon Llull, and Ignatius of Loyola. They did not use the Enneagram as we do today. But there are aspects of their own work that relates very well to the Enneagram typing system.

As I teach on the Enneagram and how it can be a tool for our formation in Christ, I take time to address what each Enneatype needs to hear from the Father. Of course, what I offer is one small insight. There are other words we need to hear from the Father. But I believe these messages are essential.

So, without further ado…

What Fours need to hear from the Father.
