Our church is currently doing a vlog series entitled “Five Minutes in 1 Peter.” I’ve done the past two, which take a look at 1 Peter 2:18-25.

Now, this passage addresses a very difficult issue, especially in light of today’s race reckoning in America. Peter speaks about how slaves are to act toward their masters, without ever stating, “End slavery now!” He then goes on to offer how they may faithfully suffer in the midst of harsh treatment.

All I can say is: Yikes!
