I am currently reading The Color of Compromise by Jemar Tisby.

A hard reality to swallow for many of us, Tisby (who is an African-American, evangelical Christian) details how the American church helped create and maintain racist ideas and practices throughout its history.

As the Amazon blurb notes, the book/video series is not a call to shame or a platform to blame white evangelical Christians. It is a call from a place of love and desire to fight for a more racially unified church that no longer compromises what the Bible teaches about human dignity and equality.

Some of us like to read, some of us don’t. If you would rather watch something over reading it, or if you’d like to do both, then I would commend this 12-part video series to you.
