Over the summer, the BTTB team will be reading through and discussing Scot McKnight’s The Blue Parakeet: Rethinking How You Read the Bible.

In session 1 we discuss ch.1 from the book. Perhaps the statement, “God said it. I believe it. That settles it.” doesn’t fully capture the tension and nuance of reading and interpreting the Bible.
